(Directions: link on the righthand column...pls note Google gives you the option to take US 27 -via I-4- or FLA Tpke). Either way it's about an 1hr 45min drive from downtown Orlando.)
The state campout offers us a bunch of activities:
Biking
Horseback riding
Swimming
Magic show
Snake handler show
9-hole golf course

***many of these activities are an additional fee, bring cash!
What to bring?
1. Start with the checklist on the right hand column.
2. Your name plaques & new plaque post
3. Vests (with new patches attached?!)
4. Firewood (2-3 bundles)
5. Drinks and snacks for you and your kids.
6. Friday night meal
*additional items:
Bikes (Highly recommended)
Tent Shade, Pop Up (Like the Kitchen)
Bathing Suit & Sun Block
Fishing Rods (not sure if they will be enforcing FLA fishing licenses?)
Tennis Shoes, if you want to ride horses (no open toed shoes)
Golf Clubs (a 9 hole course. It's not the Masters, but available)
MONEY / CASH / $$$$
*bug spray...they've had a lot of rain, so expect the worst.

Friday night: BYO (grills will be open)
Saturday
*Breakfast: pancakes/eggs/bacon/fruit/coffee/hot chocolate
*Lunch: burgers/dogs/chips
*Dinner: steaks/mac 'n cheese/asparagus/baked potatoes
***please bring an alternative if your child won't like this menu.
Sunday

Please continue to chip-in in some way on Sunday mornings as we break camp. Most of the help is needed taking down and packing the trailer, but just some overall help in cleaning up our site is necessary and appreciated!
