Mill Dam Camp-out

February 19-20th
Silver Springs, FL
(directions: link on the right hand column; please note the link does NOT direct you to use the Maitland Blvd extension to the 429 to go around Apopka...TAKE the 429, you'll save yourself at least 20mins.)

CALUSA discovered Mill Dam last year...what a find! Enduring 29 degrees during our first night was a great start to our most memorable camp out of the season. The site is entirely ours for the weekend (no other Federation tribes). The grounds are canopied by old oaks...a wide sandy beach offers the kids a safe place to goof off....and the lake is great to explore by kayak or canoe (not sure about the fishing since the fish weren't buying what CALUSA was selling last year!).
